LA Zoo Field Trip

OCG was well represented at Angels Stadium on April 20 when nearly 200 students, family, and friends attended the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim vs. Seattle Mariners baseball game. Despite the fact that the Mariners took an early lead, it was a fun game to watch 

Speech contest

OCG’s annual Speech Contest was held March 30th at school. The kindergarten, 2nd, 4th, and 6thgrades, along with Junior High and High School students, made speeches on stage. The themes of the speech changed depending on the students’ grade level. Themes included students’ favorite season, the experiment 


As part of the OCG curriculum, students at OCG not only learn about the Japanese language, they also get a chance to learn about the culture and traditions of the Japanese people.  One of the major Japanese traditions that occur every year is the celebration
